UPDATE: 24th March 2020.

As you all know, the COVID-19 situation is changing day by day. The message posted on the 20th March below detailing how we can still operate from our showroom has now changed. There are only a small number of people here today to help facilitate the temporary closure of the premesis. We still have access to your email enquiries and will be having phone calls diverted. Therefore we are still able to accept deposits for any car you would like to purchase on our website and can then arrange a handover date for when we are allowed to re open. Any part exchange valuations are subject to a physical appraisal of the car which can be done once we re open. 

When we are allowed to reopnen we will update you all as soon as possible. When this happens we can then put the car delivery service detailed below into operation for customers who are still self isolating. Please email any questions to [email protected]

In an effort to make changing your car as simple as possible you can now purchase your next car from the comfort of your own home by using the ‘Buy this car from home’ button. Click on to any of our cars and you will see this option at the top of each page. On our website you will find all of the information you need to help make an informed decision to start the buying process from your home. To check out all of the great features and technical spec of a car just click the information tabs underneath the photograph section on our website. Here you will find loads of info ranging from driver convenience and entertainment to fuel economy and safety. We can also offer a quote for part exchange and a range of competitive payment options without even having to leave your home. If you would like the option of a video walk round of any of our cars then do not hesitate to ask our helpful sales team when making your enquiry.

Our sales team are here to help with any enquiry in person, on the phone, via email or through livechat. For our Fylde Coast customers, if you have a part exchange then our sales team can come to you and appraise the car at your home. Once the deal is complete, if you can’t collect, we’ll deliver the car to you free of charge and finalise all paperwork on your doorstep! We also offer a delivery service for any customers from outside of our area. Please contact the sales team with your delivery address and we can provide you with a quote.

Our Response to the COVID-19 Virus Situation

With the COVID-19 situation changing day by day, we’d like to reassure you that Fleetwood Car Centre is doing all we can to ensure the health and safety of our hardworking employees, valuable customers and the wider community.

While it’s business as usual at Fleetwood Car Centre we will continue to follow government advice on preventative measures, such as:

  • Increasing the frequency of cleaning throughout our premises
  • Encouraging regular hand washing by staff
  • Providing handwashing facilities and sanitiser for all visitors and customers
  • Maintaining social distancing
  • Ensuring that any of our team that display COVID-19 symptoms, or have been in contact with those who do, are self-isolating.

We will closely monitor the situation and amend our activities, whenever necessary, as recommended by the relevant authorities.

Fleetwood Car Centre would love to see you at our showroom but we understand that this will be difficult for many at this time. We would like to remind those who are self-isolating that our website provides all of the information you need to make an informed decision to start the buying process online. We can also offer a quote for part exchange, along with a range of competitive payment options, all without having to leave your home.

Our experienced sales advisors are here to help with any query, in person, via email or phone and once your purchase is complete, if you can’t collect, we’ll deliver the car to you.

Cancellation under the Distance Selling Regulations

Ordinarily we do not run an organised distance selling scheme. However, due to the coronavirus outbreak we need to support our valued customers by delivering your vehicle to your home.

If you have ordered and taken delivery of your vehicle without visiting our showroom and you are not buying the car in the course of your trade or business, the following cancellation clause applies:

  • You have 14 days to get to know your new vehicle and to make sure it suits you.  If you change your mind just let us know in writing by post Fleetwood Car Centre, Copse Road, Fleetwood, FY7 6RP or in email to [email protected] and to reach us by 6pm on the 14th day following delivery and we will come and collect the vehicle for a refund.  
  • We cannot accept a return of the car if it has been damaged, modified or altered from the condition it was delivered in.
  • An excess mileage charge of £1 per mile for any mileage over 150 miles in those 14 days will apply.  If you do change your mind you cannot use the car once you have notified us - but you must still tax and insure the vehicle until it is collected.

This cancellation (change of mind) clause does not affect any separate rights given to you in The Consumer Rights Act 2015 or the Sale of Goods Act 1979 (as amended).
